Surgutneftegas OJSC is an oil company in Russia. The Company is engaged in oilfield and gasfield construction and development, oil and gas production and marketing, and oil and petrochemical product manufacture and marketing. Since 1996, the Company has been building up to 90 horizontal wells per year. Surgutneftegas has an annual production of 54,000,000 tons of crude oil and 13,900,000,000 cubic meters of gas. The Company is also involved in the operation of the Kirishi refinery, which has an installed petroleum refining capacity of 17,300,000 tons a year; the operation of the Kirishinefteorgsintez plant, which produces fuel and petrochemical products; the operation of 300 automobile and gas filling stations, 32 tank farms and 24 oil storage tanks; the operation of a facility for producing linear alkyl-benzol used in synthetic detergent manufacturing; the provision of bituminous-polymeric surfaced material for roofing and insulation works, and other activities.
